Verdon Bahanda appointed Sabah Football Club CEO
KOTA KINABALU,. Businessman and activist for native rights Datuk Verdon Bahanda has been appointed the chief executive officer of the Sabah Football Club effective Nov 12.
Sabah Football Association (SAFA) acting president Datuk Abdul Rahman Mohd Zakaria in a statement today said Verdon has met the criteria required by the Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) to lead the professional football club.
SAFA has also appointed Keningau FA President Rafie Robert as secretary-general and FAM vice-president Joehari Ayub as the new treasurer, he said.
Abdul Rahman said both positions were previously held by Andrew Majanggim and Yap Wai Loon respectively.
